Nisan Dance
Tuesday, March 25
7:00pm-8:30pm
Join us for a dance offering that provides a holistic, welcoming space for restorative stretching, energetic movement, and playful expression. Through guided improvisation, this is an invitation to connect to your body with creative intimacy, inquiry, and freedom. This movement nurtures a deep relationship to your own physical being, and weaves our individual practice into collective, spiritual nourishment. No prior dance experience is necessary.
Dance is for every body! Be sure to wear comfy clothes that allow for stretching and movement.
Meet the instructor:
Rachel B. Seiger is a Licensed Social Worker practicing as a somatic therapist and medical social worker. Rachel moved to Colorado from Berlin, Germany, and has been living in Colorado for 9 years. She previously studied theatre and dance at Ohio State University, where she also studied abroad in Israel at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Her orientation is inspired by the international movement framework 'gaga', dramatic theatrical performance, contemporary studies, and clinical therapeutic interventions. Rachel is ecstatic to be partnering with Rahmana for this joyful, restorative offering.
Dancing will take place in the Hilltop neighborhood, location shared following registration.
