Rahmana is a Women’s Prayer Initiative that cultivates feminine communal spiritual experiences. Our primary gathering modes are prayer, torah study, and song. This year we plan to expand into dance and sacred coworking. Since our launch last October, Rahmana has gathered over 180 women of many Jewish affiliations and ages. We are a new initiative, seeking to allow what might emerge in community of women and for women, where attuning, learning, and expressing in relationship with each other and God are at the center of the experience.
As we grow, we are ready for a new part-time Operations Manager to support our programs flourishing by overseeing communications, managing registrations and finances, volunteer management, and event management. Marketing skills and/or database proficiency are a bonus. The Operations Manager will report to Rahmana Founder, Rabbi Hannah Kapnik Ashar, and will support volunteers and other staff as we grow.

This position requires residency in the Denver area though much of the work can be on your own time and in your own space. You must be available to work occasional (about three per month) weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends in-person in the Hilltop neighborhood or near to it.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Communications
- Maintain and update our website with upcoming programs and resources
- Draft and/or edit and send communications about upcoming programs as well as personalized invites and thank-yous through various platforms, including Mailchimp, WhatsApp, and YAMM
- Design and manage a timely cycle of communications
- Schedule meetings for community members with the founder
- Maintain an updated list of potential program registrants based on previous attendance and expressed interest
- Data Management of Registrations and Finances
- Maintain and manage our participant and financial databases to assure accurate and consistent data tracking and reporting
- Design and manage a smooth process for program participation, including registration forms, confirmations, updates, and feedback forms
- Read and review registration data to identify community-wide patterns and patterns among individuals (ie this person has signed up but not attended many programs, let’s contact them)
- Track timelines for grant-related materials, including upcoming application deadlines, reports, and grant opportunities. Support the grant process including writing and/or editing applications, cleaning up pre-existing material to be relevant for a particular application.
- Process reimbursement requests and submit them monthly to fiscal sponsor
- Added bonus: proficiency with database arranging and management
- Volunteer Management
- Coordinate with volunteers for regular events (e.g. monthly kiddush) as well as one-off events
- Establish relationships with potential volunteers to help match their strengths with organizational needs
- Event Management
- Manage logistics for programs, including shopping for flowers, refreshments, and art supplies as needed
- Coordinate with caterers and cleaners when relevant
- Help with set-up before as well as break-down after bigger programs
- Help with logistics during bigger or new programs to coordinate refreshments, AV equipment, or art materials as needed
