Cheshbon Hanefesh:
Becoming Intimate With Our Spiritual Narratives

Facilitated by Rahmana’s Guiding Team, Sari Horovitz, Deanne Kapnik, Patricia Sandler, and RP Whitmore-Bard

Mondays, August 24, August 31, & September 7
8:00-9:30pm

From the beginning of the month of Elul (August 12) through the end of Yom Kippur (September 21), we enter a reflective season. One of the core spiritual practices of this time is cheshbon hanefesh (literally, an “accounting of the soul”), a practice of looking closely at who we are and, classically, examining our actions over the past year.

We invite you to join us for a version of this practice, guided by the teachings of Yemima Avital z’’l and tools of The Narratives Studio. Over the course of this three-part series, we will each write a Spiritual Narrative to explore the inspiration and clarity that has promoted our growth, and name what manifests when we are in alignment with our soul. Through this experience of coming close to who we are and who we have been, we enter the year with a clearer orientation to our spiritual selves.

In the Hilltop neighborhood, location will be shared to registrants in the week of the program.

To make this offering sustainable, the recommended contribution for this series is $36-180.
